Company founder and cinematographer, Craig Musburger, has logged over 3,000 hours of dive time since being certified as a SCUBA diver in 1986. He has traveled extensively and has dove on the reefs of American Samoa, Bonaire, Borneo, Fiji, Guam, the Hawaiian Islands (including the remote Northwestern Hawaiian Islands), Indonesia, the Line Islands, Malaysia, the Maldives, the Marshall Islands, Myanmar, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Phoenix Islands, Thailand, the Virgin Islands, and Wake Atoll. He is a PADI divemaster and worked as a dive guide from 1996-1997 at the prestigious Palau Pacific Resort in spectacular Palau. Craig is currently completing his PhD in Zoology at the University of Hawaii where he is studying the biogeography of coral reef fishes. Craig's underwater videography has aired on national outlets including National Geographic and ESPN as well as Hawaii NBC and Fox affiliates. Craig's expertise on fish taxonomy has allowed him to work on scientific research expeditions throughout the Pacific with NOAA, the US Fish and Wildlife Service, PMRI, and NRAS. In addition to his infatuation with the marine world, Craig has a passion for music and enjoys playing banjo, guitar, ukulele and anything else that has strings.
Camera assistant, Ranya Henson, is a PADI Instructor and has been diving for 20 years. She worked as a dive instructor on the Big Island of Hawaii for five years before returning to graduate school on Oahu where she is pursuing a Master's Degeree from the Department of Geography. In her study, she is examining the genetic connectivity of populations of the sea urchin, Colobocentrotus atratus, throughout the Hawaiian Archipelago. Ranya previously worked as a marine invertebrate taxonomist at the Bishop Museum in Honolulu. She is an accomplished still photographer, painter, and mother of two rambunctious Australian cattle dogs.
We are committed to providing our clients with the highest quality images possible. Our High Definition footage is shot with the Panasonic AG-HVX200 camera in the broadcast standard DVCPro HD format. We edit on an Avid Media Composer system.
